Amidst the goblins and gremlins associated with the month of October and Halloween comes Silver Moon Magazine's free debut issue.

Highlighting the darker genres of mystery, horror and science fiction/fantasy, Silver Moon isn't a typical zine. Included in its more than 50 pages are six short stories in the above noted categories to entertain, interviews and a book excerpt to introduce some of the hottest authors and publishers, and columns to humor and enlighten readers and writers.

Reviews of both books and movies with mystery, horror, science fiction topics as well as a page of classifieds and a "Letter to the Editor" page will be expanded and/or added in future issues. Reader comments and submissions from talented authors are welcomed.

Silver Moon Magazine is a bi-monthly mystery, horror, and speculative fiction magazine for readers and writers.

Short story submissions are now being accepted.

We are open to new authors as well as previously published authors. We prefer character driven stories with solid plots in all genres we represent. Because we strive to be a magazine for young adults and up, we also look for stories that would generally provoke a PG-13 rating.
